Everything from the previous three phases comes together and I build your site. You provide feedback throughout this process and we make sure everything is just right.
Whether you need a website built from the ground up or the redesign of an old website, knowing the process from start to finish will help us stay focused. Here is an example of how my process works:
First, you will let me know what you hope to achieve with your website by filling out my project application. If I feel my skills can help you reach your goals, we will set up a meeting or phone call so that I can learn more.
A few days after we meet, I send you a complete proposal, an estimate of your investment, and a contract. We sign the contract, you send a deposit and I put you on my schedule. You then start collecting all of your content and send it to me.
Before the first pixel is created I do extensive research on your business, your industry, and your competition. I look for new opportunities for growth and creative ways to set yourself apart online.
What I learned in the research phase is put into a plan of action. It is here where we establish what exactly we are trying to accomplish with the website, and how we are going to get there.
The design phase focuses on putting your plan into action by creating visual designs and interesting copy that conveys your message and differentiates you from your competition.
The finished site is cross tested for usability and browser support prior to going live. Once we are sure everything is working properly and you’re happy with your new website, we launch it to the public through a combination of email and social media marketing.
